The Greenfield Fire Department has been serving the citizens of Greenfield as a professional department since 1970, providing the highest level of fire protection and emergency medical services. We staff 2 stations with 48 due paying members divided into 3 shifts, working 24 hrs at a time on the California schedule. In 2008, we responded to 4,427 emergency calls; our busiest year ever. For 2009 we're on pace to break that record!
